Southern Dandie Rescue & Welfare have, at present, a Dandie bitch called Daisy for adoption. Daisy is a 3 years old, mustard, not yet spayed, good with children and other dogs, very clean and well behaved. Her owner has been made redundant and has to move to a flat without her, so she is in rescue through no fault of her own.

If anyone is interested in giving Daisy a home please contact Glen Tinsley.

An Auction of Dandie Memorabilia was held at the Southern Dandie Dinmont Championship Show on Sunday 18 September 2011 to help raise money for club funds.  The venue was Cricklade Village Hall, Cricklade, near Swindon, Wiltshire, SN6 6AE

The Auction was held during the lunch hour with Paul Keevil kindly acting as "auctioneer".  It certainly added to the entertainment of the day and also managed to raise £273 for club funds.  Many thanks to all who donated items and also to those who bought!  

We hope to make this a regular event so if you fall into the “cluttered house category” and want to help the club and clear your house at the same time, then why not pass on your surplus Dandie Memorabilia to Mark Wheeler so that it can be auctioned too!  

We hope you will consider joining the Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club. This Club is a marvellous resource for Dandie owners. We have members who breed, members who show and members with just the one much loved companion Dandie. The one thing we all have in common is a love of the breed and a desire to work together to promote the Dandie.

Each member receives a copy of the Dandie Lines which is eagerly awaited each year and is full of articles and breed information.
