My first championship judging appointment, such a thoroughly enjoyable day & I will cherish the memories for many years to come. I was delighted with the support of exhibitors & it was a pleasure to judge some really top quality dogs & some exciting young raising stars. Temperaments & presentation were just as I would expect from this delightful breed.
PD (2,1a) 1 BP & RCC, Kerrush’s Inzievar Royal Gold, what a sound youngster, moved with real purpose, lovely masculine head, fine well set ears, strong neck with correct front & well placed shoulders, flowing topline, good mustard jacket with correct texture, this young dog has an exciting future. JD (4,1) 1 Smethurst’s Dawsholm Dapper Davoc, pepper dog, nice size, strong masculine head with good neck, good mouth & good dark jacket, correct texture, movement OK; 2 Handley’s Gypsywish Just Like Dad, pepper of good size, nice jacket, moved steadily throughout carrying a bit surplus weight. YD (4) 1 Cooper’s Margham Feather Duster, pepper, lovely masculine dog, strong head with lovely expression, well set ears, lovely neck & good front, lovely topline & hindquarters which allows the dog to move well. Just needs a little more time to mature; 2 Kelly & Hobson’s Swanwillow Jackmanii, mustard dog with strong head, nice jacket with correct texture, would like more length in body, moved steady on the grass; 3 Smethurst’s Dawsholm Dapper Davoc. PGD (2,1) 1 G Just Like Dad. LD (4) 1 Fisher’s Masterlada Who Dares Wins at Gypsywish, pepper/dapple, small balanced dog, nice head, lovely soft expression, moved well on grass; 2 Weatherson’s Hindall Beau Brummel at Borderstone, mustard dog, lovely head with dark set eyes, rich mustard jacket, well presented, movement not as good as 1; 3 Corliss’ Dengold Enterprise. OD (1) 1 BOB & CC, Buirst & Jamieson’s Ch Inzuvar Silver Gilt, what a pleasure this dog is to judge, strong & masculine with strength & power, wonderful proportioned head into strong neck & the best front & shoulders I’ve seen in a Dandie, correct flowing topline, well sprung ribs with strong hindquarters, construction correct & balanced therefore his movement has to be sound, covered the ground so well, retaining his topline, beautiful coat, lovely presentation, what a lovely show dog, deserves the top award.
PB (3) Lovely class. 1 Green’s Inzievar Rose Gold, exciting youngster, lovely mustard, very feminine, delightful head with soft expression, nice reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, flowing topline, moved so well for a youngster, expertly handled allowing this youngster to enjoy herself, this young lady is a star in the making, pushed hard for the top awards; 2 Shore’s Swanwillow Passion Flower, delightful mustard bitch, good size, lovely feminine head, sweet expression, good topline, moved well when settled; 3 Osbourne’s Pitferrane Silver Lady of Braego. JB (5,3) 1 Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzuvar Gold Edition, lovely feminine mustard, quality head, lovely dark eye with sweet expression, clean neckline, well bodied, balanced, moved & showed with sparkle & charm; 2 Smith’s Somercloud Starprize at Glendandy, nice mustard bitch, very sound. YB (2) 1 I Gold Edition; 2 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Red Ribbon, lovely mustard bitch, nice size, feminine head, good coat coming, moved with drive & retained her outline throughout, lovely class, both quality bitches. PGB (1) 1 Eves’ Oaksleigh Minnihaha of Sylvanlun, pretty mustard bitch with strong head, dark set eyes, moved with drive, good angulation in hindquarters. LB (5) 1 Morris’ Hendell Tassel at Pennywave, nice mustard bitch with strong skull, soft expression, clean neckline, moved well on grass, tailset a little high; 2 Weatherson & Heywood’s Schalulleka Blueprint for Borderstone, pepper bitch, lovely head, just preferred the expression of 1, lovely jacket, well presented & in sound condition; 3 O Minnihaha of S. OB (9) Super class, the future is brighter, my first three bitches are top quality. 1 CC, Shore’s Ch Swanwillow Savannah, quality mustard bitch in top form, never stopped showing herself, strong head, profuse topknot, sweet expression, good bone, moved around with active drive & this gave her the edge today; 2 RCC, Cameron’s Ch Inzievar Silver Bonnet, ultra feminine pepper bitch, balanced throughout, lovely head with super expression, clean neck with well laid shoulder, good spring of ribs, lovely flowing topline, moved & relaxed in the challenge for the RCC, real quality bitch; 3 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Habit Forming.
