EAST OF ENGLAND CH SHOW 2009
Dandie Dinmont Terriers
PD (1) Interesting to read that my principal winners all bore the same affix or were by my BOB, yet were handled by different people proving top kennels will out. 1 Adams’ Pennywave Over Easy, 7 months mustard, first time out I believe & a little unsettled on the move. So pleasing in type & temperament, his time will come, very typical in outline giving correct proportions, super expression from his large well set eyes, pleasing coat texture. JD (0). LD (1) 1 Osbourne’s Puddockswell Amber melody for Braego, mustard, masculine, appealing temperament, big well set eye giving good expression, excellent large nose, good under jaw, muscular neck, goes nicely. OD (3) 1 Jamieson & Buist’s Ch Inzievar Silver Gilt, this pepper coloured chap is a real pleasure to judge, everything I could want from his fabulous head with big nose, well placed leathers, his construction could be depicted in the breed standard, well laid shoulders, short front legs & good pads, well let down of chest, body of good length, flexible with correct arch over loin, correct slope to root of tail, presentation was an object lesson in presentation, excellent topknot, coat crisp to the touch with soft undercoat. This dog knows he is good & uses it to advantage which won him BOB & a well deserved shortlist in a good Terrier group; 2 Hamilton’s Margham Moon Duster, liked this masculine fella, pleasing head proportions, strength in foreface, low set ears, muscular neck into well laid shoulders, correct topline, very positive in front action, a useful sort. RBD; 3 Fisher’s Mosterlada Who Dares Wins at Gypsywish.
PB (1) 1 Morris’ Pennywave Amaryllis, 7 months, what a charmer, such a sweetheart in temperament & presents sound elegant picture with typical outline, moves with confidence with attitude. BP. JB (0). PGB (3) 1 Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzievar Gold Edition, not in the best coat but a lovely bitch who depicts the style & type both standing & moving. Super expression, earset & outline, moved well; 2 Osbourne’s Pitfirrance Silver Lady of Braego, appealing, super personality, in fact what a charming breed this is. Used herself to advantage, sound & honest; 3 Eves’ Oaksleigh Minnehaha of Sylvanken. OB (3) Three decent bitches, 3 not putting it in today on the move. 1 Cameron’s Ch Inzievar Silver Bonnet, lovely pepper, has an air of quality throughout, immaculate presentation, performing to advantage.
