Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club

Well believe it or not it is still summer, judging by the weather at the recent Championship shows, Bournemouth and Welsh Kennel Club you could be forgiven for thinking it was late Autumn, Bournemouth was at least dry on the Saturday, though muddy.

It is always disappointing when you enter under a judge only to find out on the day they have been replaced, to add to that the replacement having judged only ten months prior things can only get better, at least being first in meant you could be back on the road for just after 11am.

The weather at Welsh Kennel Club was horrid, no outside rings were used presumably to save the ground for other events as the showground has many other things going on there from agricultural shows to antique fairs. Dandies were second in the ring after Parsons, not a huge entry diminished by absentees with only eight males on the ground, it was nice to see the BOB Dandie, the recently crowned Ch Swanwillow Savannah winning third in the group under terrier specialist and Dandie judge Ken Bounden (kennel Tolpedn)

Its onwards to Scottish Kennel Club next knowing Scotland it could be scorching hot and raining all in the same day.
