The eye testing day on Sunday 5th October is now but a damp memory, as the weather was foul.
I think the rain eased off for about ten minutes to allow the fun part of the day to actually take place outside and then it was back into the hall again. I don't know who had the job of cleaning the floor but it wasn't going to be a quick wipe over.
Everyone brought food and the table looked very inviting - the tombola was as popular as ever.
There were around twenty four Dandies present and about the same amount of Cesky. With committee from both clubs, the atmosphere was cosy in the small hall.

Ophthalmologist Ian Mason was very pleased with the Dandies tested on the day with all testing clear. It was encouraging to hear that over the last year he had seen far fewer Dandies presenting with actual Glaucoma. When asked if this could be the result of breeders testing and removing any affected stock from their breeding programme he said this may well be the case and only time will tell.
