Driffield Agricultural Society Championship show took place over four days on 18 to 21 September, Dandies were scheduled for the first day, Thursday.
Despite Keith Derry's assurance of the weather being suitable for wearing a bikini it was a little fresh to begin but very sunny towards lunch time, even if the ground was rather moist under foot.
Gill Denham was awarding CC's for the first time and found her BOB in Ch Inzievar Silver Gilt, BCC was awarded to Ch Swanwillow Savannah.
The show lay out is very good enabling exhibitors to park outside their benching tent, always much appreciated, rings were large but I must say shorter grass would have been better for showing a short legged dog at 9am !
