Midland Counties Canine Society marks the last general championship show with CC's on offer for Dandies in 2008.

A 9am start saw judge elect Zena Thorn - Andrews casting her eye over a very respectable entry of 65, she found her DCC and BOB in Buist and Jamieson's Ch Inzievar Silver Gilt, who went on to win group one under Renee Sporre - Willes. RDCC was Peggy Hulme and Barbara Hunter's Hendell Alphonse at Etsill who also won BP, BCC went to Beverly Deacon's Cassencarrie Habit Forming JW, this was her third CC thus giving her her title, RBCC went to Billy and Jackie Shore's Swanwillow Passion Flower, which made both CC's going to the open winners and both RCC's going to puppy and junior class winners respectfully.
